Regge Trajectories in Potential Model

The mass spectra of hadrons are obtained using the potential of quark-quark interaction in the form V(r) = (2r)1/2 + V0. The agreement with the experimental data is quite good in the case of heavy hadrons and a bit worse for light hadrons. Regge trajectories are found to be slightly bent for n > 0 so the relativistic effects should be taken into account.

It was found that the masses of neutral vector resonances satisfy the approximate equality M2(2S) – M2(1S) = 2l! where l = 0, 1, 2, 3 corresponds to u(d), s, c, b quarks. Suggesting l = 4 for t-quark we obtain its mass mt = 30 – 35 GeV.
